Rising Educators

CIP Code 13.0101

This Rising Educators Program will provide students with a solid foundation in the right techniques and strategies that will strengthen children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and
physical development in both Elementary and High School. Students will get to put what they learn into practice through extensive field experiences in a wide variety of placements, including classrooms for students with diverse learning needs and classrooms for students from pre-K to grade 12. Students also gain authentic learning experiences based on the coursework they are currently enrolled in within live classrooms. Additionally, general education pedagogy including lesson planning, lesson preparation, assessment techniques, technology integration, and diversifying instructional strategies are all explored. Along the way, students will have a dedicated career counselor to help and support them on their path to becoming a distinguished teacher in the area they choose to a make a difference.
